From Tide to Table
Tucked away on the shores of Brackley Beach, just a short drive from Charlottetown, the Brackley Bay Oyster Company is a family-owned fishery making waves with its sustainably harvested shellfish. Fishing one of the oldest oyster leases on PEI, we take pride in bringing you plump, briny oysters straight from PEI’s nutrient-rich waters.
Set against the emerald dunes and red-sand beaches of Brackley Beach (part of the Prince Edward Island National Park), this spot offers more than just seafood. After your meal, wander the shoreline, keep an eye out for piping plovers in the wetlands, or hop on a bike to explore nearby trails.
While oysters steal the show, the country market also features fresh mussels, clams, quahogs, lobsters, and haddock. Sink your teeth into the day’s catch at the on-site shucking counter or grab a mixed seafood pack to go. And don’t miss the ice creamery for a sweet treat crafted with Island cream and natural flavours.
What to Expect
Open from May 1 through December 31 Brackley Bay Oyster Co. welcomes you. Picnic tables overlook the bay, and public washrooms make for a comfortable, laid-back visit. The perfect pairing? A dozen oysters with a squeeze of fresh lemon or a dash of homemade mignonette.
